Angelina mentions Brad and their children…

Because of Angelina’s movie Unbroken being released this week, she has been doing lots of press. As this website focuses on Brad I love sharing her interview quotes that mention Brad and their children. Here are some mentions but follow the link for the full interviews.

“Mom? I saw this thing over there — can I skateboard on it?” The “thing” is a freshly painted cyclorama inside the Los Angeles photo studio where, on a sunny day in November, Jolie is being photographed for her THR cover. And the blond girl in the hoodie who wants to skateboard on its rad curved surfaces is none other than Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, arguably the most genetically advantaged 8-year-old on Earth. Also possibly the most self-assured (“Wassup!” she greets a stranger, flashing a cocky grin). But the answer is no, Shiloh may not skateboard on the cyc wall. Some rules cannot be broken, even if your mother happens to be one of the biggest rule breakers of the year.

She spent the fall — right after their wedding — bossing Pitt around Malta while shooting By the Sea, her third directorial effort (which she also wrote), about a couple trying to rekindle their dying marriage during a trip to Europe. Pitt plays the husband in the film (still being edited), Jolie the wife. “Yes, we spent our honeymoon playing two people in a terrible marriage,” she says, laughing. “I’m sure a therapist would have a field day analyzing the films I choose to do. But it’s been 10 years since Brad and I have worked together. It felt like it was time.”

“The scenes on ‘By the Sea’ were so tense that we let out (any stress) on camera. There’s really heavy fighting in it, so I think sometimes the crew felt like, ‘Mom and Dad are having a fight!’ — because Brad and I are the producers too,” she said. “Success or failure, it’s all on us.

“But it was all oddly freeing. We both wanted to do something as artists … and push each other. So we got this opportunity to go out there and play.

Though married only since August — and globe-trotting from sets around the world to homes in Los Angeles, New Orleans or France — Pitt and Jolie are dedicated to setting aside Christmas as family time, she says.

“Our tradition is, well, being somewhat traditional,” Jolie reveals, even cozily referring to herself and Pitt as “Mom and Dad” when detailing their household holiday.

“Dad is the main one to deal with the tree, Mom and the kids help decorate, and then we put all the kids to bed. And, as anybody who has a big family knows, [the gifts] take a really long time! You have to be very organized when you’re wrapping them and putting presents around the tree. And you have to make sure no one gets up and leaves before everyone else is done.

“It’s all a bit military! We’re constantly cleaning up the wrapping paper and getting coffee, like any other parent,” she says.

Jolie reveals she, Brad Pitt use cybersecurity to protect their kids online

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie say they take extensive measures to protect their children — from left, Pax Jolie-Pitt, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Knox Jolie-Pitt, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Maddox Jolie-Pitt — from hazards on the Internet.

Angelina Jolie goes to great lengths to protect her children when it comes to the Internet.

The “Unbroken” director and her husband, Brad Pitt, have extensive measures in place for their kids’ online browsing.

“We have someone who monitors that,” Jolie revealed to People.

The couple have hired cybersecurity to monitor the Internet and social media content that their six children come across online.

“It’s a scary new world,” she said.

While the 39-year-old movie star admitted that she is “old-school” in terms of technology and social media, she does have her own Twitter account.

Brad Pitt and Kids Step in for Angelina Jolie at Unbroken Premiere

Angelina Jolie was forced to miss the premiere of her latest film, Unbroken, but she had four stellar stand-ins on the red carpet.

Husband Brad Pitt and kids Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, and Shiloh, 8 – all three of whom were coordinated in dark suit-and-tie ensembles – turned out Monday night at the Los Angeles premiere of the WWII drama directed by Jolie. Pitt’s parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, also attended in support of their newly official daughter-in-law.

“She’s doing great,” Pitt, who turns 51 on Thursday, said of his wife, who revealed last Friday that she has the chicken pox.

But things are looking up for the stricken star: On Monday, Unbroken scored four Critics’ Choice nominations from the Broadcast Film Critics Association, including best picture and best director.

Jolie on Marriage to Brad Pitt: ‘I’m Gonna Get This Wife Thing Down’

The notoriously private Angelina Jolie is finally opening up about her marriage to Brad Pitt.

In an interview with Tom Brokaw on Tuesday’s Today show, Jolie revealed that her relationship with Pitt has changed since they said “I do.”

Though they had already been together for nearly a decade prior to tying the knot on Aug. 23, she admitted that “recommitting after 10 years of being together” provided an added level of “security and comfort.”

“We were fortunate enough to be in that unusual situation where we got married with our children and they were part of the ceremony and they wrote some of the vows,” Jolie said.

That’s not all – as PEOPLE previously reported, her six children also had a hand in designing her Atelier Versace gown! Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mother down the aisle, and Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, acted as flower girls. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were ring bearers.

“[Our wedding day] was all of us agreeing to be together and to just commit to this life together,” Jolie continued. “Not because we had to or because anything was missing in our lives, but because we were absolutely sure we felt that much of a family. … It was really lovely. It was a lovely day.”

Doug Pitt: Not easy to know but ‘the guy who will step in’

Doug Pitt, businessman and founder of Care to Learn, is not an easy man to get to know.

“He is just not a real outgoing guy,” says long-time friend Matt Miller. “His dad is that way. Doug can be seen as distant, disinterested, stand-offish. That is more of a personality thing. … And then you couple that with his life experiences.”

Those life experiences involve having Brad Pitt as an older brother. As a result, people give Doug screenplays for his brother to read. One man came to Doug’s business to ask why Doug and Brad had placed a microchip in his head. Others simply want to hover near the glow of reflected fame.

But there’s something about Pitt few people know, says Miller, a real estate developer who graduated with Doug Pitt from Kickapoo High School in 1985.

“Doug is kind of a bad ass. He is a tough guy,” Miller says. “He would not fight you. Well, he would if he needed to. But with all the charity work he has done — as polished as he has become — you might think you know him.

“He has a very strong sense of right and wrong,” Miller says. “That is one area where he is not bashful. If he ends up in a situation when there is a wrong being done — even if it’s a random situation where it’s being done to someone else — he is the guy who will step in.”

Douglas Mitchell Pitt, 48, stepped in to help his community back in 2007. It started when he was at a Springfield Chamber of Commerce meeting. He was astounded by stories he heard of children in poverty right in his hometown.
