Megamind
Brad channels his inner Elvis
Brad Pitt had fun putting on an Elvis-inspired swagger for his role as a superhero in Megamind.
Tom McGrath, the director of the animated DreamWorks comedy, says Brad “jumped on board” when it came to recording his character.
“Brad Pitt was fantastic to work with, he’s the perfect Metro Man,” the filmmaker said.
“He really got into it with his Elvis swagger. In fact, when we recorded him he didn’t want to sit behind a podium, he wanted to walk around the stage holding this mic and it really suited his character,” Tom said.

Megamonth kick-off
A massive event took place in Los Angeles yesterday featuring actor Will Ferrell attempting to break the world record for number of costumed superheroes in one play. It was the first time ever that 1580 people dressed as superheroes had been in the same place at the same time.
Taking place at the Staples Center in LA, and to coincide with Ferrell’s new animated superhero flick Megamind, the event was officially recorded by Guinness World Record reps. The event also kicked off Megamonth, a month long series of events to celebrate the released of the film, which also features the voices of Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Tina Fey. Apparently, even Spider-Man genius creator Stan Lee was also spotted at the event.
