A Chinese streaming service has started carrying the 1999 cult film favorite Fight Club—but with a very different ending to the surprise of viewers.
While Edward Norton’s character is seen at the end of the original version watching buildings explode after killing off Tyler Durden, his imaginary alter ego played by Brad Pitt, the version on Tencent Video fades to black before the explosions begin and displays a brief message.
“Through the clue provided by Tyler, the police rapidly figured out the whole plan and arrested all criminals, successfully preventing the bomb from exploding. After the trial, Tyler was sent to lunatic asylum receiving psychological treatment. He was discharged from the hospital in 2012,” the message read.
Brad Pitt, Damien Quintard Relaunch Historic Miraval Studios as Creative Hub in the South of France
Brad Pitt has teamed up with Emmy-award winning music producer Damien Quintard to relaunch the historic Miraval Studios, where Pink Floyd, Sting, The Cure and AC/DC recorded their albums. It is being redesigned as an exclusive film and music production and post-production facility in a beautiful setting.
The studio is located in a majestic vineyard estate, Château Miraval, that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie leased in 2008, purchased in 2011 and held their wedding there in 2014. Jolie sold her 50% ownership in the property in 2021.
Stealing
So… I don’t usually check up on any other BP websites, just cause I don’t want the drama. But there is this Brasilian website, and you know who you are when you read this. That is stealing all of my images and even the pages I personally write. They just translate it to their language.
I see they haven’t found time yet to translate my Radio and Documentaries page, so that’s not available yet 😂 But be sure to expect that soon. Maybe I can do your updates too? Just use Google Translate?
Now really, is this how you can be proud of your site? Just stealing someone else’s work they’ve been creating since 2005? Really? You can’t even come up with your own sentences? Your own words? Your own pictures? Shame on you. Shame on you for just taking everything on SimplyBrad.com without any credit or mention and call it your own.
Should I take it as a compliment?
SB has survived many so called fansites and I will survive this one too, but yuck. Karma will get you.
