George Clooney told reporters at the New York Film Festival that Ocean’s 14 is finally moving forward. He spoke with E! News while promoting his new movie Jay Kelly. Clooney said the studio approved the budget and the team is now working on a shooting schedule.
“We just got the budget approved at Warner Brothers,” Clooney explained. “We are trying to set a start date. Probably start in about nine or ten months, shooting.” This statement gives fans a concrete Ocean’s 14 release date clue. An approved budget means the studio believes the heist sequel will attract big audiences.
Because the budget is set, the producers can lock in locations, crew, and equipment. The timeline also helps the cast coordinate their busy schedules. Clooney added that the team hopes to begin filming within the next year.
