Sony Moves ‘Bullet Train’ To Summer

Sony has moved its David Leitch directed Brad Pitt action movie Bullet Train and Hello Sunshine and 3000 Pictures production Where the Crawdads Sing to July, respectively July 15 and July 22.

Bullet Train was previously scheduled on April 8 next year, while Crawdads was on June 24.

Bullet Train travels away from a weekend where it was squaring off with Paramount’s event feature Sonic The Hedgehog 2 to a weekend where there aren’t any major studio films scheduled. The Leitch movie will be booked on premium large format screens.

The Lost City Trailer

Ancient treasure, a lost city, billionaire baddies — by the looks of the first trailer for The Lost City, Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum really have their hands full.

The film, directed by brothers Adam and Aaron Nee, also features Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Patti Harrison, Oscar Nunez, Bowen Yang, and a cameo by Brad Pitt.

Bullock and Tatum previously teased the cameo in an exclusive first look with EW, with the former revealing it’s a stunt-heavy part that steals the show.

“And we let him. He just came in, and he tore it up. He’s really funny,” she said of Pitt.

Added Tatum, “He came in and played a certain character that fits into this weird world, and just signed up for it completely and wholly. I’ve met him, but to get to work with him was a whole different thing. I couldn’t focus. It was really an out-of-body experience in a lot of ways.”

Damien Quintard Takes Us Inside The Reopening Of Studio Miraval

A few weeks ago, it was announced that Brad Pitt was going to reopen recording studio Studio Miraval on his winery, Chateau Miraval, in the South of France. At first glance, this may appear to some like another celebrity vanity project. However, this is anything but that.

In case you’re unaware, Studio Miraval (now called Miraval Studios) is one of the legendary studios in music history. Albums like the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street and Pink Floyd’s The Wall were recorded there. Studio Miraval has also hosted sessions by luminaries like The Cure, Sting, Sade and The Cranberries. Not too shabby.

Apple In Homestretch On Brad Pitt Formula One Racing Film

Apple is in exclusive negotiations and will close the first big film package of the new year. That’s the highly competitive race to acquire an untitled pitch package that will have Brad Pitt playing a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver and take his final stab at glory on the track as the younger driver’s teammate.

Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski will helm, and Ehren Kruger is writing the script. Top Gun‘s Jerry Bruckheimer is producing alongside Plan B.
