Netflix has released the final trailer for writer-director David Michod’s The King, featuring Academy Award-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) and Robert Pattinson (The Batman) as their characters face off in the Battle of Agincourt. Based on literary icon William Shakespeare’s plays Henry IV Part 1, Henry Part 2, and Henry V, The King is a modern-day Shakespearean adaptation from the screenwriting duo Michod and Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton, who’ve worked together on Animal Kingdom. It will follow the story of Hal, a wayward prince, who ascends to the English throne upon his father’s death, and must navigate the palace snake pit, and inherited war and chaos.
