Jim Jefferies Reveals the Secret Behind Brad Pitt’s Weatherman Appearances

Jim Jefferies has a secret to tell about Brad Pitt. The movie actor has shown up several times on Comedy Central’s “The Jim Jefferies Show” as its unofficial weatherman, casually sharing the horrors of climate change. But here’s the truth: Pitt hasn’t dropped by in a year.

“This is the one that went viral, even though it was recorded a year ago,” Jefferies said of a recent Brad Pitt segment. The show had leftover footage of Brad doing a LeBron James joke, which felt timely because of the NBA playoffs. Slayer guitarist Kerry King happened to be on set, so they put him in front of a green screen, and it looked like the musician was a fan trying to talk to him.

“And then Gayle King is on the news going, ‘Wow, Brad Pitt must really love Jim Jefferies, he’s back on the show!’ I should be lying and saying he came back in,” Jefferies said.

But the truth may be even more interesting: Even though “The Jim Jefferies Show” is finding old, unused footage of Brad Pitt to keep the gag going, the relationship is real. Pitt was a fan of Jefferies’ FX series “Legit,” and came in twice to record bits for his Comedy Central show. “He also recorded a whole heap of stuff just on the phone,” Jefferies said. “Sometimes it will be the middle of the night and I’ll get a text message from Brad Pitt, and it would be him in Venice on a canal, doing his own script and everything.”

Here’s How Fox Got That A-List Actor To Cameo In Deadpool 2

There are lots of surprises in Deadpool 2, all which benefit from not knowing about them in advance, so if you haven’t seen the film yet, I’d advise against reading this article until you have. Last chance to turn back…
Still here? Good. As you’ll no doubt know, one of the best moments in the sequel was Brad Pitt’s tiny cameo as X-Force member The Vanisher. In the film, he has the power of invisibility and remains unseen for almost the entirety of the movie except for his death by electrocution. At which point, it’s revealed that he was Brad Pitt all along.
But what does it take to convince one of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers to appear in a cameo role? Apparently not much, according to an interview with writer Rhett Reese, who told Screen Rant the following:

Vanisher was a late add. It was the very last thing we shot on the Deadpool movie was [when] Brad Pitt came to set. He agreed to play Vanisher in return for scale, which is a very, very low number, a low, low salary and a cup of coffee from Starbucks delivered to him by Ryan Reynolds. So Ryan had to hand over that coffee to Brad in order for him to do the part.

Criterion Plans “Tree of Life” Extended Cut

A considerably longer version of Terrence Malick’s Palme d’Or winning 2011 film “The Tree of Life” is coming to the Criterion Collection with a rep confirming a new take that’s almost an hour longer and comes in just short of three hours long at 179 minutes.

The movie became something of legend years ago after cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki revealed that Malick had assembled a rumored a six-hour cut of the movie. That didn’t happen, but this new version isn’t pegged as a director’s cut rather it is a new take on the film with a different rhythm to it – similar to his revised cut of 2005’s “The New World”.

The clip will NOT include any new footage from the universe creation segment, instead it will flesh out the family and character stuff including family members entirely cut out of the original film, a closer look at Brad Pitt’s character’s upbringing, and a major natural catastrophe element.

On warm days like we are now experiencing now, in the Erie region, water is something we all need. We have access to clean drinking water, but that’s not the case in other parts of the world, like in Africa.

In Erie, the mother of Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt, teamed up with her daughter, to help raise money and awareness for clean drinking water.

The two travel across the world, and on Wednesday, they were at the Kahkwa Club for a luncheon called “Let It Pour.” Julie Pitt Neal is a mother of five. Two of her children are adopted from Ethiopia. Her brother, Doug Pitt, works with the organization Africa 6000 International.

The Erie event helped raise funds for Africa 6000 so that a deep, clean water well can be drilled in Ethiopia.
