“Fight Club 2”: Director Chuck Palahnuik Confirms Sequel at Comic Con

“The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club”.

This line was immortalized by Brad Pitt in the 1999 movie “Fight Club”. The graphic novel released in 1966, which became one of the best movies of the 90’s was directed by Chuck Palahnuik. According to the director, avid fans of the movie now have something to look forward to—Fight Club 2.

Palahnuik first revealed his plans to direct the sequel to the graphic novel Fight Club at Comic Con. As Palahnuik describes the movie, saying:

“It will likely be a series of books that update the story ten years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden. Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It’s only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped by Tyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem.”

It is very obvious that there will be certain twists in the movie which fans would be eagerly waiting for, just like the first one.

Another question that arises is if the original cast, which includes A-Listers Brad Pitt and Edward Norton would be reliving their roles in the sequel of the graphic novel?

According to sources, the two stars are still tied up in contractual business and whether they would be portraying these roles again will be known in 2015.
