Crowds flock for Hollywood hunk Brad

Women in North Oxfordshire were all of a flutter last night as they jostled to get a glimpse of Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt.

The actor was filming scenes for his new movie World War Z at the former American airbase at Upper Heyford.

The film, a zombie thriller, is based on the 2006 post-apocalyptic horror novel by Max Brooks and Mr Pitt was filming scenes at the empty supermarket at the base.

An onlooker said: “The whole place has been transformed into a film set.

“There are pergolas with all sorts of film equipment under them and lots of people milling around.“ About 200 film crew and actors were at the base, watched by more than 50 local people.
