SB.com

First of all, thanks to everyone who has emailed me or left a comment about the new SimplyBrad.com. I’m glad that most of you can appreciate it and understand my reasons for this big change. Thank you :) Keep visiting!

All the applications for the SB Forum have been accepted, check your email for your login information.

I’m working hard on adding back the content to the main site. I just finished converting all the subpages of the Brad section. Some ‘superficial’ pages have been deleted, and some informative new pages have been added like: Pets, Favorite Music and Photography. Many have been updated but I know lots of info is still missing, I’m only one person with a lot of work. A big thanks to Alero for once again updating the Biography page, this is a lot of work and I very much appreciate your help and dedication, thank you!

Inglourious Basterds

A new clip from Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds aired last night during American Idol, but there was an extended clip that didn’t play because it was too hot for TV. This clip has showed up online and I added it to BP Media. Click the links below as I also made some screencaps. Brad looks great, which surprises me (cause of the stache). What do you all think after seeing this clip? Thanks Sandra and Gabriella!

Eat, Pray, Love

Richard Jenkins has signed to star opposite Julia Roberts in “Eat, Pray, Love” for Columbia Pictures. Film, which will be helmed by Ryan Murphy, had been set up at Paramount Pictures but was put in turnaround earlier this year. Based on the international bestseller by Elizabeth Gilbert, story centers on a married woman who embarks on a journey of self-discovery after trying to get pregnant and realizing that she’s not living the life she wants. Murphy adapted the screenplay. Jenkins will play a Texan whom Roberts’ character befriends at an Indian ashram. Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner are producing through their Plan B shingle. Lensing begins in July and will take place in New York, Rome, India and Bali. Source. Thanks Sandra.

BP Media

Added a compilation of Holmes in New Orleans. A program featuring Brad being interviewed about Make It Right and Holmes’ participation in the project. It follows Mr Holmes and his team as they build a home for one of the New Orleans families. Thanks Gabriella.

Also a video of Brad on the set of The Mexican talking about his costar Julia Roberts. Pressjunket for Interview with the Vampire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

SB.com

Yep, the website is undergoing a major transformation for many reasons. But it’s all for the positive and everything will be back to ‘normal’ as soon as I can type. So please be patient :)

UPDATE: Several subsections are back online. You can scroll over the menu on the top right above the picture of Brad (which is a photoshoot from 2005 that I will add soon). If you scroll all the way down you will see preview pictures of the four network sites of SB.com. This is the new look of SB. I hope you will like it, I know it doesn’t have some fancy designer look but you will have to understand that those ‘looks’ cost money and a lot of time to maintain and change every time we’d want a new look. This will be easier and I won’t have to depend on other people, and it won’t cost money. So I hope you will all like it :)

I received a very generous and helpful donation thanks to Sandra! Thank you very much for supporting the website, this donation will help me a lot with the current bills, thank you!

Battling Boy

Brad Pitt’s production company picked up rights to the forthcoming graphic novel written and illustrated by Paul Pope in November. The story line follows the son of a god who comes down from the top of a mountain at his father’s urging to rid the giant, continent-sized city of Monstropolis of a plague of beasts. First Second Books will publish the comic in the spring. Paramount execs Eben Davidson and Andrew Calof are overseeing Tse’s adaptation for the studio. Tse, who is repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment, co-wrote the recent adaptation of “Watchmen,” which Paramount distributed internationally. The film has grossed $177 million worldwide.
