Brad Pitt Is the New Face of Chanel No. 5! Yes, it’s a scent for a woman, but if ever there was a man pretty enough to render that particular point moot, it’s Brad Pitt.

Proving yet again that his musky appeal knows no bounds, E! News has exclusively learned that Angelina Jolie’s better half has signed on as the new face of Chanel’s signature No. 5 scent.

Reps for neither Pitt nor the perfume house have commented on the new partnership, but a source tells E! News that the actor will be shooting his first perfume ad in London sometime this week (the superstar family has set up their most recent homestead in the UK).

And for his endorsement troubles, Pitt will be bringing home some serious bacon for the Jolie-Pitt clan, with his paycheck for the spot somewhere in the seven-figures.

The Chanel No. 5 ad will be released overseas sometime later this year. Makes scents to us.

Could Michael Fassbender and Brad Pitt be teaming on Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor” before they work on “Twelve Years A Slave”? If everything shakes out, that could very well be the case.

Deadline reports the Pitt, Jeremy Renner and Javier Bardem are circling the villain the same role in the upcoming Cormac McCarthy-penned film. Earlier this week Fassbender got locked in for the film at which time there was word that several “high-profile actors” were being sought. And this certainly seems to be the case. The script is said to be an amped up “No Country For Old Men”-esque tale that follows a lawyer who naively gets involved in the drug trade and finds himself caught up in a desperate situation. While Deadline says the role is the villain, that’s not quite accurate. If the part is what we think it is, the actors are circling the role of Reiner, a criminal who along with his girlfriend Malkina featuring in another strand of the story — but that’s about all we can say without spoiling it. The latter is one of two female leads that also need to be cast.

Brad Pitt is negotiating for the lead in New Regency’s “The Gray Man,” a script from last year’s blacklist by Adam Cozad that will have Pitt playing an assassin for the first time since “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.”
James Gray will direct “Gray Man,” a character piece adaptation from Mark Greaney’s debut thriller. Pitt would play the world’s greatest assassin, burned and on the run from his last job-gone-bad.

Robert Duvall has revealed he will only appear in a film about two famous feuding American families if Brad Pitt does.

The 79-year-old star of Get Low has revealed Eric Roth has written an excellent script about the Hatfield/McCoy feud and Crazy Heart director Scott Cooper has met with Brad about making the film for Warner Bros.

Robert said he will be on board the project “if Brad Pitt will say yes”.

The dedicated acting veteran revealed: “I don’t work as much as I want. My career is still going great, maybe as good as ever.”

But Brad has recently shaved off his Hatfield and McCoy style beard, which he claimed he had grown out of boredom, to begin filming new baseball move Moneyball.
