Matt damon mentions Brad

Matt Damon – Parade interview December 2011:

Despite his movie star status, Damon keeps his life private, especially compared to some of his famous friends.
“Brad and Angie, there’s much more pressure on them than there is on me. He [Pitt] asked me what my everyday is like. I said, ‘Well, I grab the kids from school, and then we go over to the park.’ And he was just looking at me, like, ‘How can you do that?’ Because he can’t.”

On the paparazzi plaguing his famous friends.
“Brad [Pitt] has told me stories. . . . He threw a cheeseburger at somebody. The guy had followed him to the drive-thru and Brad was like, ‘Can I just eat my cheeseburger?’ The guy pulled up next to him and Brad ended up throwing it at him, and they both looked at each other in total shock for a long moment. Neither of them could believe that it happened, you know? And then the guy went to raise his camera, and Brad sped off. So he did not get the picture. Brad left that experience feeling like, ‘Well, I didn’t get to eat my cheeseburger. I really wanted it.’

Jonah Hill Tries to Convince Stewart That Brad Pitt Is a Nice Guy

While both men agreed they wished Brad Pitt was a huge jerk, Jonah Hill tried to convince Jon Stewart that it simply wasn’t so. How could a man be that handsome and a great guy? Alas, according to Hill on ‘The Daily Show’, that’s exactly what he is.

He even let Hill stay in his house in New Orleans for months while Hill was filming a movie. Hill did admit to having a lot of fun with the tourists who were stopping to see the famous Brad Pitt house. They’d get all psyched when he pulled up, and then confused and let down to see that it was just him.

When Stewart asked if Angelina Jolie was staying at the house as well — was Pitt that nice? — Hill had to admit that there is a limit to what Pitt was willing to give.

Angelina Jolie Dishes on Watching Movies With Brad Pitt: I Fall Asleep

Brad jokes with me, because I”ll watch a movie and I’ll be asleep in five minutes,” she says in the interview. “I’m terrible. There’s some of my own I’ve never seen.

She does admit that she manages to watch the ones Brad stars in, however, adding, “Since I’ve been with him I’ve seen all the ones we’ve gone to the premieres for.

So what’s her favorite Brad movie?

I think I liked Jesse [The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford] because I knew how hard he worked on that. It’s interesting: when you live with an artist, it’s not the film but the process you respect. I know he took a risk on that, fought for it, stood true to what he believe. He didn’t cave when people were pressing him, and he made a beautiful film.

Brad Pitt: Total Prankster, Says Moneyball Costar Jonah Hill

“It was scarier to work with Phil, because his character didn’t like me in the movie,” Hill said. “Brad and I are the two leads of the movie and Phil, he doesn’t like us in the movie. He doesn’t like what we represent.

Moneyball is the real-life story about Oakland A’s manager Billy Beane’s (Pitt) attempt to revamp the disgraced baseball team with the help of his assistant general manager (Hill).

Hill echoed what so many other celebs have told us about working with Pitt.

He’s fantastic,” he said. “He’s so giving. He’s just, like, a guy you look up to for so many reasons. He’s the coolest guy! He started playing pranks on me like right off the bat.” Hill declined to say exactly what Mr. Pitt did, but we imagine whoopee cushions were not involved.
