We went behind the scenes of Brad Pitt’s Details magazine photo shoot, where the actor talked about his love of the outdoors and how he ranks himself as a parent.

“I’ve discovered I don’t suck at being a dad,” Brad, 50, told Details.

The father of six has traveled the world with his children Shiloh, Vivienne, Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Knox — plus their mom and recently wedded wife, Angelina Jolie. With such a large family, the Oscar winner has little time alone, but when he can get away, he gravitates towards the California Redwoods.

“I will always be most comfortable in the outdoors,” Brad told Details. “I grew up in the Ozarks … and I’m quite reverential when it comes to a tree.”

So much so that he had the height of the world’s largest sequoia — 311.4 feet — tattooed on his forearm.

Brad’s issue of Details hits newsstands October 28, and he can next be seen on the big screen when his WWII film Fury opens October 17.

The first rule of breakdance is you don’t talk during breakdance.

Brad Pitt and Jimmy Fallon have already had a yodel conversation, but on Wednesday they decided to take things up a notch. Instead of talking about Pitt’s new movie, “Fury,” by using boring old words, the pair had an entire conversation consisting of dance moves. Appropriately, words can’t even describe how awesome it is.

Brad Pitt showed off a hidden talent when he hit the stage with Bruno Mars in New Orleans this weekend.

At the Make It Right Gala held in New Orleans Pitt joined Mars for a jam out session.

The heartthrob received a warm welcome from the crowd as he shook his tambourine with flare while Mars belted out the James Brown classic Sex Machine.

Pitt hit all the right chords with his tambourine playing.

On October 18, viewers will finally get to see Steve McQueen’s movie adaptation of the stunning memoir 12 Years a Slave, written in the 1850s by Solomon Northup. With a cast including Benedict Cumberbatch, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Paul Giamatti, Quvenzhané Wallis from “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” Sarah Paulson of “Mud,” and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Northrup, expectations for McQueen’s film are through the roof. Today, we get another peek at the epic tale with the release of the television trailer.

McQueen’s previous film, the titillating “Shame” starring Michael Fassbender as a sex-addicted thirty-something, spared nothing in its approach to a loaded topic. Our expectation is that McQueen will employ the same raw energy and direction to “12 Years.”

Northrup’s memoir recounts the years following his enslavement. Northrup was born a free man – but on one fateful day, he is kidnapped, drugged, and sold into slavery in Louisiana. What follows is a decade-plus of his quiet wish to find the freedom that was once his. And when that wish comes true, Northrup takes his case to the courts.
