Producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that a follow-up to the high-profile racing film is in progress after months of speculation.
The original feature starred Brad Pitt as veteran driver Sonny Hayes and was co-produced by seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. Here is everything currently known about the planned sequel.
Jerry Bruckheimer revealed the news while attending the annual Academy Awards luncheon in Los Angeles. “We’re working on a sequel.”
He did not provide a production timeline and stopped short of confirming whether Pitt will return as Sonny Hayes.
