Let’s start with Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy’s The Counselor, shall we? While the film packs an absolutely brilliant all-star cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and more, it was originally set to debut on November 15th, the same day as Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street (a movie that will be targeting the exact same demographics). It was only a matter of time before one of the two projects blinked and switched dates, and it appears that The Counselor has made the move. Fox has now moved the title to October 25th, where it will battle for audience attention with Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake and the latest installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise.
