In your last film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, your character goes back in time, in the literal sense of the term, Benjamin Button looks younger over the years. Your fountain of youth to you, it is what?
My six Children! Believe me, it is necessary to have health to bring up such a tribe. Angelina and me, we are in constant movement and that is what maintains our form!
In this work, you are made up and made up. I do not know if your ‘tribe’ came to visit you on the set, but if it is the case, how did they react by seeing you as an older person?
I hesitated a lot before accepting they come. I told myself that I was going to traumatize them being so made up. In fact, they made no comment. I ignore it if it does because they are accustomed to see me playing, but I saw no astonishment in their look. That their dad was hairless, and 50 years older, well, they couldn’t have cared less!
This film takes place partly in an elder care center. Is it a place which you saw frequently to ‘live’ better in your role?
No. On the other hand I have had members of my family which reside there. I also have a friend working in an elder care center, and he said that each time he talked with people close to death, they did not speak about their career, or awards, about a book they have written or of their professional success, but about their regrets and the people whom they love and whom they did not see enough. David’s film also treats the disappearing of people they love and of the way we manage their departure.
This is the first part. A big thank you for translating Natlc! Read more/discuss.

When you know that you are about to interview someone as mind-bogglingly famous as Brad Pitt, you try to stay cool. You remind yourself that, really, this man is just a good guy from the American Midwest armed with a charming smile – and a phenomenal career in the film industry. After all, he’s got to be just like the rest of us: human. But the minute I shake his hand that internal voice starts screaming, reminding me that this is him: Brad Pitt. A megastar since Thelma And Louise 18 years ago, winner of countless acting accolades and now the lead in Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited war film, Inglourious Basterds. So what do I do? Try and pretend that this really is just a bearded guy in a white T-shirt and baggy beige pants. So, here goes…
I’m curious – what got you interested in Tarantino’s new project?
This one came with a build-up of mythic proportions. There were rumours that he’d been sitting on this idea for eight years. People wondered: would he ever get to make it? Rumours were spreading that he wanted to make a WWII spaghetti Western. Then I got word this summer: he was going to get in touch with me because he was almost finished with the script and wanted to start shooting immediately. After that it was just one of those times when you read a script and there’s nothing you want to change.

According to this article from Portugal, Brad (along with Al Pacino & Penélope Cruz) is gonna film a remake of the old Steve McQueen movie “Le Mans” (1971). Wolfgang Petersen will direct.
Source/discuss. Thanks Intothegrinder. This is unconfirmed.
Plot: Almost in breadth and depth of a documentary, this movie depicts an auto race during the 70s on the world’s hardest endurance course: Le Mans in France. The race goes over 24 hours on 14.5 kilometers of cordoned country road. Every few hours the two drivers per car alternate – but it’s still a challenge for concentration and material. In the focus is the duel between the German Stahler in Ferrari 512LM and the American Delaney in Gulf Team Porsche 917. Delaney is under extraordinary pressure, because the year before he caused a severe accident, in which his friend Lisa’s husband was killed.

Hollywood celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is in Kenya on holiday, MondayBlues can reveal. The American actress and Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR and her husband flew in last week.
The tour has been highly secretive. Word of their visit even got some top UN personalities in shock. Sources close to us indicated on arrival to Nairobi, the couple immediately left for Masai Mara where they were booked into an exclusive camp. It wasn’t clear whether their sons Maddox and Pax accompanied them. Without diverting details our sources said of their visit: “They arrived as a family”.
“They are here on holiday,” another source, a top official working for the UN told MondayBlues.
Read more/discuss. I don’t know how reliable this is, but Angelina has made an appearance in Africa this week, that’s for sure.

Hi, just letting you all know that if you have sent me an email and you have not yet received a reply by now: that is because I had to format my pc today and lost all the emails in the website account. So please email me again if possible.
And on that note I also want to again let it be known that I am not in contact with Brad Pitt, or the Make It Right organisation and I have no idea how to contact Brad. If I did: I would not share it. So please do not email me thinking I am or am in contact with Brad. I’m not. Gosh this must sound ridiculous to most of you, but yes, I do get such emails. I am just a girl with a fansite folks. Thanks.
EDIT: My apologies, I had to reboot it all again. So, lol sorry, but I didn’t receive any emails that may have been sent. It should all be good again now. Don’t we love puters..
